iLoqk è un nuovo progetto per iPad 2 che ci offre la possibilità di utilizzare il tablet iPad 2 in un modo completamente nuovo. I promotori del progetto hanno ideato una custodia speciale per iPad 2 sulla quale è possibile montare un treppiede che permette di posizionare il tablet su una superficie piana e guardare film, scrivere, ecc. Il treppiede però non è tutto perché per il tablet esiste anche un accessorio telescopico che amplia le modalità di utilizzo del tablet, ma è anche dotato di un meccanismo che fa scattare automaticamente l'otturatore del tablet e ci permette di scattare immagini senza premere effettivamente il pulsante sullo schermo. In pratica, l'accessorio telescopico ha montato una specie di pulsante che, una volta premuto, emette un suono che un'apposita applicazione per iPad 2 riconosce, attiva l'otturatore del tablet e registra la foto.
Il treppiede, l'accessorio telescopico Xshot più il morsetto con cui si fissa il treppiede al tablet costano 80 dollari e in omaggio si riceve la custodia speciale per iPad 2. Il progetto è più che interessante e molto utile, ma purtroppo i soldi necessari per finanziarlo non sono stati nemmeno lontanamente raccolti, quindi probabilmente non sarà mai disponibile nei negozi.
