Micro, unul dintre furnizorii de memorie RAM pentru Mac-uri, va lansa noi module DDR4 in cursul acetui an, ele urmand a dubla latimea de banda, autonomia bateriei fiind imbunatatita in acelasi timp. Daca DDR3 RAM are acum o latime de banda de 17GB/s, pentru DDR4 ne putem astepta la 34GB/s, performantele urmand a creste corespunzator.

va ajunge mai apoi si in iPhone-uri sau tablete iPad, iar de aici va puteti imagina cu cat vor creste performantele. Cu un procesor nou si DDR4 RAM, Apple poate dubla din nou performantele iDevice-urilor sale si ar lasa fara replica multi producatori de terminale mobile, cel putin pentru cateva luni de zile. Chiar daca totul este prezentat acum ca un simplu zvon, trecerea la DDR4 va fi facuta in cursul acestui an, chiar daca nu cu MacBook Air-ul.
