LG G3 a fost prezentat i ncursul acestei seri de catre compania LG, in cadrul conferintei de prezentare fiind pregatite si cateva comparatii in ecranele competitorilor si calitatea oferita de catre acestia. Cei de la LG au criticat marketing-ul din spatele Retina Display-urilor din iPhone-uri, spunand ca lumea priveste gresit ecranele terminalelor mobile crezand ca diferentele in ceea ce priveste calitatea imaginilor nu vor fi sesizate in cazul smartphone-urilor ce au ecrane cu peste 300 de pixeli per inch.

Desi vorbim tot despre o metoda inteligenta de a prezenta lucrurile, realitatea este ca ecranele cu densitate de pixeli mai mare de 300 ppi au imagini mai clare si Apple stie acest lucru.
