iPad a ramas regina tabletelor in T4 2017, tableta companiei Apple generand vanzari cu doar 1% mai bune decat cele din T4 2016, dar in final asta conteaza mai putin. In T4 2017 tableta iPad a reusit sa ramana in topul tabletelor vandute la nivel global, in timp ce diferenta fata de locul 2 s-a situat la 5.8 milioane de unitati, una uriasa in favoarea Apple.

Amazon este singura companie care s-a putut apropia de cei de la Apple in vanzari, cu 7.7 milioane de unitati vandute, in crestere cu 50.3% fata de T4 2016. Samsung s-a plasat pe pozitia a treia cu 7 milioane de tablete vandute, insa in cazul coreenilor vorbim despre o scadere cu 1 milion de unitati a vanzarilor de tablete, situatia putand compania intr-o pozitie delicata.

Nici Lenovo n-o duce mai bine, fiind plasata pe pozitia a 5-a in top c o scadere procentuala identica cu cea a Samsung, acesti producatori fiind singurii cu scaderi. In baza vanzarilor inregistrate de catre iPad, tableta a insumat 26.6% din piata tabletelor in T4 2017, aceasta inregistrand o scadere cu 7.9% a vanzarilor fata de T4 2016.

“Apple maintained a solid lead in the holiday quarter driving growth both through its lower-priced 9.7-inch iPad as well as its newly refreshed iPad Pro products. While the lower-price iPad has continued to drive a strong consumer upgrade cycle, the shifting focus is to iPad Pro and its potential in the commercial and education segments.”

Tabletele nu mai sunt de mult timp gadget-urile pe care consumatorii le cauta cu faorte mare atentie, vanzarile acestui tip de produse fiind intr-o constanta scadere in ultimii ani. In ciuda acestui lucru, compania Apple a reusit sa isi creasca vanzarile iPad in ultimul an, ceva ce nimeni nu credea posibil in 2015, dar iata ca marketing-ul din Cupertino este foarte bun.
