About 30 minutes ago, Geohot announced on his official account on Twitter that currently does not exist NO SOLUTION for jailbreak/unlock for devices with new bootrom that have been updated to 3.1.3 firmware if at baseband 05.12.01 si he does not know if there will ever be such a thing.
The information comes after what Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), it blocked the exploit used by blackra1n to jailbreak but it did not block the one used by redsn0w, who received an update about 2 days before the release of the new firmware. Dev Team has very good sources inside Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), or even work for Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), as circulated.
Anyway what is important to know is DO NOT UPDATE la 3.1.3 firmware if you have one iPhone 3GS(with new bootrom or without)/iPod Touch 2G / 3G(new models) or iPhone 3G if you need decoding. iPhone 3G it can be jailbroken but there is no decoding solution for it yet.
