Today Dev Team a announced through the official blog that the version will be released today 3.1.5 a Pwnagetool which will allow users to create custom ipsw's for 3.1.3 firmware.
Before the official launch Dev Team wanted to specify some very important things for users who are thinking of using the program to switch to 3.1.3 firmware :
– the owners of iPhone 3GS(especially those with new bootrom) Where THEY DO NOT HAVE saved a SHSH in Cydia should stay away from 3.1.3 firmware because a wrong move could put them in the situation of not being able to downgrade back to 3.1.2 firmware but neither jailbreak/unlock.
– PwnageTool will allow the creation of custom ipsw's for: iPhone 2G/3G/3GS(ONLY those with old bootrom), iPod Touch 1G / 2G(ONLY those with old bootrom), but update to 3.1.3 firmware DONATE if you consider it absolutely necessary!
– to be able to jailbreak using Pwnagetool it is not necessary that iDevice yours to have been jailbroken before, except iPhone 3GS si iPod Touch 2G(with old bootrom). also Dev Team recommend to owners of iPhone 2G / 3G which do not need unlock but also to the owners of iPod Touch 1G to use redsn0w 0.9.3 for jailbreak because it is a much simpler method and with much less risk.
- For iPhone 3GS it is absolutely necessary to BE JAILBREAKED before use Pwnagetool otherwise the process IT WILL NOT WORK! If you have already updated to firmware 3.1.3 Pwnagetool IT WILL NOT WORK! so NU try in vain, first downgrade to 3.1.2 firmware using the tutorial this, then use PwnageTool 3.1.5.
- Pwnagetool DOES NOT UNLOCK than phones with baseband 04.26.08, if you have baseband 05.11.07 or 05.12.01, NU update to 3.1.3 firmware because you will not be able to unlock the phone!!!
Read with SEA pay attention to everything I wrote above and do not proceed to update the phone to 3.1.3 firmware unless you are absolutely sure of what you are doing.

blacksn0w does not work with 3.1.3 firmware, so if you have baseband 05.11.07/05.12.01 NU update to 3.1.3 firmware for NU you will have none possibility to unlock the phone if Geohot NU release a new version of blacksn0w.
