iH8sn0w will no longer release sn0wbreeze for iPhone OS 4.0

A few days ago I announced that iH8sn0w could release a version of sn0wbreeze that would work with iPhone OS 4.0, moreover, it would allow anyone to install this software, regardless of whether they have it UDID- the phone transferred to the account of a developer or not.

From then until today, a lot has changed, iH8sn0w and his team managed to do it jailbreak new iPhone OS 4.0, but iH8sn0w announced that he will no longer work on the new version of sn0wbreeze, giving a list of reasons why a release would be superfluous:

  • iPhone OS 4.0 beta cannot be installed from Windows, installation only works from Mac OSX;
  • iPhone OS 4.0 beta has a lot of bugs;
  • iPhone OS 4.0 beta was made for developers in order to test the new APIs introduced by Apple;
  • The restore success rate is 58%, that is, one out of 2 restores fails;
  • It would promote piracy even more intensively by illegally redistributing iPhone OS 4.0 beta and "overcoming" the UDID barrier.

These are the reasons why iH8sn0w will not remove sn0wbreeze for iPhone OS 4.0, so we won't be able to test the new version of iPhone OS until summer. I will tell you that the first reason is enough to postpone such a launch, unfortunately (as I also found out yesterday) iPhone OS 4.0 cannot be installed from Windows, and launching a program for Windows it would be useless considering that one is needed Mac for installation.

Unfortunately, the wait continues, however now there are 3 teams that have made it jailbreak new iPhone OS 4.0, should it really be that easy?
