About the iPhone 4G/HD price

I have noticed lately that many of you are wondering what will be the price of the new iPhone 4G/HD that Apple will present and then release next month, so I decided to make this article to present you my vision regarding the pricing policy that Apple will adopt this year.

Apple is a company that sticks to tradition, it rarely deviates from the normal course of things, so let's look at how Apple chose to market the iPhone 3GS last year: at last year's WWDC, Apple announced that the iPhone 3GS would be available at the standard price of $599/$699, the same price at which the iPhone 3G was introduced a year before and the same price at which I believe the iPhone 4G/HD will be introduced this year. This pricing policy has been in place for 2 years and Apple will not give it up in this year of crisis, moreover the fact that Apple does not want to increase prices was very well noticed at the launch of the iPad when Apple had a starting price $499 for iPad WiFi.

Starting from these prices: $599/$699, I believe that in Europe the price for the iPhone will be somewhere between a minimum of 550 euros and a maximum of 720 for the 2 versions of iPhone 4G/HD (16/32GB), these being the prices at which the iPhone 3GS was/is sold. In Romania, I doubt that Orange will increase the price of the new iPhone, under the given conditions, and if it does, I suspect that it won't take long until it introduces some offers in order to succeed in selling from the terminals because Romania is in the midst of a crisis that will intensify quite a long time until August (when it is very likely that Orange will market iPhone 4G/HD in Romania).

So, if you want a 4G/HD iPhone from Romania or Europe, I recommend that you have at least 550 euros ready and take into account the fact that until the official launch in Romania, the prices of the old ones from us will be excessively high.
