Above you have a video in which the functionality of the blacksn0w decoding solution is demonstrated on iPhone OS 4.0 beta 4 jailbroken on an iPhone 3GS. As you can see, the 05.11.07 baseband is necessary for blacksn0w to work and of course the application of the blacksn0w patch. It is also written in the video, I repeat: this version of blacksn0w has quite a lot of bugs, it is unstable and it is not yet ready to be used by anyone, the person who modified blacksn0w asks us to wait for the official decoding solutions from Dev Team and I agree with him!
Unfortunately this version of blacksn0w cannot be used for a permanent decoding, if you reset or turn off the phone you will have to reapply the patch, so it is basically a tethered decode for now, but surely a method will be found to make it permanent.
