Orange supports the VAT increase, but not for all services

Orange announced today that it will bear the 5% increase in VAT, which comes into force today, in the case of the purchase of a new phone with a new subscription from any of the Orange stores or the Orange online store. This offer will be available until August 2nd, so until August 2nd you will be able to purchase a new phone together with a new subscription and Orange will cover the 5% VAT difference.

The rest of Orange services will be taxed according to the new VAT of 24%, and Orange has made available on their website a calculator that will tell you how much you will have to pay for your subscription with the new VAT.

Under these conditions, I suspect that the iPhone 4 will be available after August 2 because I don't see the people from Orange so generous as to pay us the VAT for the iPhone 4.
