Apple appoints a vice president who will supervise the production process of Apple products

Jeff Williams has just been promoted to Senior VP of Operations at Apple and his main job is to oversee the production of Apple products to ensure they meet the highest quality standards. This move comes after the criticism that Apple has been subjected to over the past few weeks, criticism that targeted the iPhone 4 terminal and the various problems that some of the owners have complained about.

Jeff Williams is Apple's senior vice president of Operations, reporting to COO Tim Cook. Jeff leads a team of people around the world responsible for end-to-end supply chain management and dedicated to ensuring that Apple products meet the highest standards of quality.
