iOS 4.1 and a new version of iTunes could be released tonight!

Today is the big day for the new version of iOS for iDevices. In the conference tonight Apple will present the new iPod models and together with them will more than likely release the new iOS 4.1 which will come ready to install on the new iPod Touch 4G. This new version of iOS comes with some changes: a new baseband that for now cannot be decoded and it is not known when/if it will be decoded, but it also blocks the possibility of jailbreaking your phones. In these conditions, I warn you to be careful when iOS 4.1 appears and to update only if you are sure that you need this new version of iOS.

Along with the new iOS, Apple will release a new version of iTunes that does not know how the jailbreak affects your phones, so be very careful when this update appears.

If Apple will open the conference at 20:00, then the new iOS could be released between 21:00 and 24:00, so be careful not to "accidentally" press the update button in iTunes.
