A few boys inventive people from the USA bought from a store a small microscope module (that is, a kind of magnifying glass) with the help of which they managed to transform an iPhone 4 into a portable "microscope". They spent only $5 for that microscrop that promises to enlarge the image of objects by up to 45 times, but in reality it only enlarges it by 4 times. That microscope module was placed at the camera behind the iPhone 4 terminal and with its help they could see almost the same thing that we can see in a normal microscope, that is, a magnified image of a portion of an object.
With the help of an application called BlueCam, they were able to transmit the images captured with the iPhone 4 camera directly on the screen of an iPad tablet, so in total they managed to obtain a kind of very cheap electronic microscope. I'm curious, can something like this be found in Romania?
