Restore Logo Changer is a program for Windows that allows you to change the boot logo of your phone without having to do a custom ipsw/restore. The program is very easy to use and will give you the opportunity to choose a custom boot logo from your computer or give you the option to use the one included in the program. At the moment this program is only compatible with terminals on which a custom ipsw can be loaded, but unfortunately it is currently only compatible with iOS 4.0, so the program will be updated to work with iOS 4.1 after the jailbreak solution appears.
