Verizon and AT&T will sell the iPad in the US from October 28, will Europe follow?

Today Apple officially announced that Verizon Wireless si AT&T will sell the iPad tablet in their own stores starting on October 28. This announcement is very surprising considering that until now AT&T was the traditional partner of Apple and has exclusivity for the sale of the iPhone, and this launch could predict the conclusion of the exclusivity contract between the 2 companies. Now the rumors about an iPhone 4 CDMA only at Verizon are starting to take shape, but more than that, it is very possible that from next year the iPhone 5 terminal will be sold through several operators in the US.

But let's get back to the topic, the sale of the iPad tablet is not limited by any exclusivity contract and that is very good because the tablet will be available from more operators and subscription prices will be considerably lower. In Europe, the iPad tablet is not yet sold through mobile phone operators, but it is quite possible that from November the iPad tablet will be included in the offers of mobile phone operators in Europe and maybe even Romania. Together with the announcement made by Vodafone today exclusivity to those from Orange regarding the sale of the iPhone 4 seems to be coming to an end and thus in Romania there are now 2 operators who could bring the iPad tablet into their offer: Orange and Vodafone. I, for one, will not take the current iPad model and am waiting for the iPad 2 tablet, but that is a discussion for another article.
