Details about the new MacBook Air

On Wednesday, Apple will hold a conference and it is more than likely that it will focus on a new MacBook Air model and the launch or presentation of a new version of the Mac OS X operating system. Those from CultOfMac have obtained some exclusive information about the hardware of the new MacBook Air and it seems that the new laptop models from Apple will have better hardware at a lower price, a recipe for success for any company. The MacBook Air models from Apple's current offer are already 1 year old since their release and unfortunately they did not have very good sales, so for Apple the time has come for change and probably innovation, and here is what the company from Cupertino could prepare for us:

  • battery autonomy between 8-10 hours compared to 5 as current models have;
  • a new thinner and lighter design;
  • 2 USB ports, a slot for SD cards, mini display port and a locast magsafe;
  • the basic model with 2GB RAM and the possibility to upgrade, the same offer will also be available for SSDs;
  • video card NVIDIA GeForce 320M;
  • processors with a working frequency of 2.1 GHz and 2.4 GHz;
  • the 11.6 inch model would have a standard price of $999 and the 13.3 inch $1100.

All this information is of course just rumors and it is quite likely that the models presented by Apple will have nothing or more than what I presented above. So, who is thinking of buying a MacBook Air?
