Do you remember the service? Ping released by Apple at the September 1st conference? If yes, then you will be happy to know that starting today you can listen songs from iTunes directly to the Twitter pages of your friends who use Ping and have connected the Ping account in iTunes with the one on Twitter. Apple's Ping network hasn't had much success, to be honest, it's been in a bit of a shadow lately, but this new partnership will definitely increase the network's popularity. Basically all you have to do is have a Ping account, a Twitter account, a few friends who have connected their 2 accounts and you can listen to any songs tweeted by them directly on their Twitter page.

Unfortunately, Romania does not have an iTunes music store, so an account in the Ro AppStore will not give you access to the Ping network and the new functions, but an account in the US AppStore will allow you to use them.

Starting today Ping, iTunes' new social network for music, and Twitter are making it even easier for people to share music discoveries with their friends by putting Ping activity, song previews and links to purchase and download music from the iTunes Store right in their Tweets on Twitter.com.

Once you've linked the accounts, whenever you Post, Like, Review, or tell your friends why you purchased a song or album on Ping, this activity will also be tweeted to your Twitter followers – complete with playable song previews and links to purchase and download music from iTunes.
