On the day of the release of iOS 4.2.1 Dev Team a promis as the new decoding solution for basebands 05.14.02 and maybe 05.15.01 should be available shortly after redsn0w 0.9.6 is updated and Cydia optimized to work on iOS 4.2.1. Well, at the moment ultrasn0w does NOT decode the 2 new basebands and I don't know when it will be modified to work with them because no one says anything concrete about this. The deadline for the release of the new ultrasn0w is Sunday, so there are still a few days and the Dev Team is probably testing all aspects related to ultrasn0w to be sure that they release a software with as few problems as possible.
All I can tell you is that ultrasn0w does not work with iOS 4.2.1 at the moment because the changes brought by the new iOS require an update of the ultrasn0w decoding program. The Dev Team is working and you have to be patient, a lot.
