For those of you who don't know, the Samsung Captivate is AT&T's version of the famous Samsung Galaxy S, but we're not just talking about a rebranding but of a terminal with a completely different design but similar characteristics. The Samsung Captivate has the same Super AMOLED screen which, compared to the iPhone 4, offers more vivid colors but less clear images and unnatural colors when it comes to surfing the Internet or viewing photos. Of course, when it comes to reading text from web pages, the iPhone 4 has a huge advantage due to the large number of pixels per inch in the Retina Display, but you all know that Android doesn't do very well even with pinch-to-zoom, so we pass a point for iPhone 4.

Regarding the quality of video clips shot with the camera, both are capable of shooting HD in 720p format and here I would say that the Samsung Captivare has better performance, but that's only because it doesn't change the white balance during filming. Unfortunately, you can notice that the Samsung Captivare doesn't play the movie that fluently, unlike the iPhone 4 which shoots at 30fps and you won't have any problem playing the video content.

In short, the terminals are quite close in terms of performance, which is the winner? You decide.
