Bucharest, December 09, 2010 – eMAG, the largest online store in Romania, becomes an authorized Apple partner, following a detailed audit process of sales and after-sales services as well as online and offline marketing policies.
With the Apple certification, eMAG runs training programs for the sales team, which will offer specialized consulting services, both online and in showrooms throughout the country. Also, eMAG will dedicate special areas for the entire range of Apple products, gradually, in all showrooms in the country.
"We are happy to see an increasing interest of Romanian consumers in Apple products, but also an increased attention given by the Apple company to the Romanian market. The new status of eMAG in the relationship with Apple and the joint plans make us believe in the tripling of sales on the entire Apple range in 2011 compared to 2010," said Radu Apostolescu, eMAG marketing director.
The main aspects audited by Apple in the certification process were the quality of services offered, consulting and expertise in Apple products, marketing policies and customer relations, including technical support and the possibility to record and publish online consumer opinions and recommendations. As an authorized reseller, eMAG will benefit from dedicated support from the Apcom team, the only authorized Apple distributor in Romania, with whom it will carry out promotion and sales projects.
