The unlock solution for iPhone 4 postponed until after January 16

Although last month sherif hashim a indicates the fact that the unlock solution for iPhone 4 will be available until January 16, now things have turned around and Sherif Hashim announces that he does not know when this unlock solution will be released because he is still working on it. Unfortunately, the Dev Team is still struggling to develop this decoding solution and will probably release one similar to the one for the iPhone 3G/3GS, which means it may require a baseband update or something similar. Sherif Hashim hinted last year that the unlocking solution would be ready for release, but here things are not quite like that and the wait is probably extending for the next month.

Basebands 02.10.x and 03.10.x have been unblockable since September when iOS 4.1 was released, so soon it will be 4 months in which iPhone 4 users could not decode their terminals. A similar situation was in 2009 before the release of iOS 3 when the baseband from iOS 2.2.1 could not be decoded for approximately 4 months. Then I got my first iPhone and I was struggling with a TurboSim and that prompted me to get a terminal from Orange so that I don't have problems with the unlock.
