At CES 2011, quite a few gaming accessories were presented, but none like the one in the pictures. The device in the clip presented above is a mechanical base on which we have mounted an iPhone, it is controlled by the movements of the base which is connected to a physical joystick. The whole device is based on a controller called Arduino that allows the corners of the base to be raised/lowered so that we can play a game on the iPhone, which requires control using the accelerometer. Of course, this machine does not have and probably will never have a real utility, but the way it was built is interesting.
My opinion is that the device makes the game more difficult than anything else, however the idea itself is well applied.
