Amazon, one of the largest retailers in the US, has increased the delivery period of the 17-inch MacBook Pro by up to 1-2 months, a similar situation occurred at the launch of the latest MacBook Pro series. Apple's online store still displays delivery times of a maximum of 24 hours, so it is possible that Apple will redirect existing stocks to its own stores.
The current MacBook Pro series has not been revised for some time and sources inside the company indicate that Apple intends to launch a new version of the product, and these partner stock reductions are the main clue. The new line is rumored to have the new Intel Sandy Bridge chipset plus some elements from the MacBook Air, including a much thinner shape.
