A new untethered jailbreak vulnerability discovered by the Chronic Dev Team

Pod2G, the Chronic Dev Team member who discovered the iOS 4.1 exploit called SHAtter, has discovered a new vulnerability that could lead to the development of an untethered jailbreak solution. Pod 2G does not specify for which version of iOS this vulnerability is available, but the important thing is that it discovered something unused until now in any existing jailbreak solution. The Chronic Dev Team should release a new untethered jailbreak solution for iOS 4.2.1 soon, and it's possible that the vulnerability discovered by Pod 2G will now work on the upcoming iOS 4.3. I will keep you posted if I find out more.

  1. Thanks for the continuous research work you do.
But I'm curious about one thing - yes, the unlock burns me - why don't they say a word, a rumor, a concrete thing about the unlock, at least with the same frequency with which they make statements like the one above...

  2. We are not interested in other exploits to make one untethered for 4.2.1 in vain, they find a thousand if not able to make untethered for 4.2.1 and so enough time has passed

  3. Guys, if you want to use phones that are blocked in another network, you can do it with call forwarding (it's blocked on Orange and you want to use Vodafone, insert the Vodafone card into a decoded phone, forward all calls, enter the Orange number and all who will call you on Vodafone will be diverted to the Orange number and vice versa) You must buy an Orange card until it appears unlock

  4. How cool are the boys!!! They discover everything, great scientists. It's just that they are not able to do anything concrete outside of talk, lies and an endless .. soon!! Sensational guys, I have nothing to say
