RecoveryGuard blocks the possibility to update via iTunes!

how to get a free Apple ID, without a card or bank account

We all know the warning messages that the Dev Team publishes every time a new version of iOS appears in iTunes. All those who need unlock and jailbreak are recommended not to install the latest version of iOS, etc. I know you know this, but I know that some of you have the habit of updating "by mistake" to the latest version of iOS and then find out that they can't unlock their terminals and stay with them in the drawer for months.

RecoveryGuard is a new tweak, still in the beta version, which blocks the possibility of updating your terminal via iTunes! Once installed, this tweak will trick iTunes and make it understand that you already have the latest version of iOS installed, but it will also block the possibility for iTunes to put your phone in Recovery Mode and restore it. Of course, you can restore if you manually put the terminal in DFU or Recovery Mode, but iTunes will not be able to do this. The tweak just needs to be installed and it takes effect immediately, you don't need to set anything or reset the terminal. The tweak is compatible with any version of iOS between 3.1.2 - 4.2.1.

RecoveryGuard is available in Cydia in the repo: cydia.pushfix.info and I warmly recommend you to install it even if it is currently in the beta version.
