Starting with the iPhone 3GS, Apple treated the screens of iDevices with a solution called oil oleophobic, which should protect them from the fingerprints that sometimes appear during use. Unfortunately, Apple's solution does not always have the results that many expect and the screens get dirty quite easily. LensPen Sidekick is an accessory presented at MacWorld 2011 and its main functionality is to erase fingerprints from the screens of our iDevices. LensPen Sidekick consists of a pad that has a carbon-treated sponge mounted on it that "absorbs" fingerprints on the terminal's screen by simply erasing it. It comes together with a slot in which there is a second sponge treated with carbon that "recharges" the first one.

The accessory costs only $19.95, and consists of a complete sponge kit plus a slot and a second replacement pad. A head of the SideKick accessory should be changed after about 200 wipes, so you can use it without problems for long periods of time. For now it is not available for purchase, but when it is I will let you know.
