FreeSync is a tweak available in Cydia whose functionality boils down to offering the possibility to use our iDevice during a synchronization with iTunes. The tweak will display a message when we start the synchronization and warn us that you can do absolutely anything with the terminal until the process is finished. The application developer warns users not to start the iPod application during synchronization in order not to corrupt the synchronization process and lose the songs. Although we are allowed to do anything during the synchronization, do not forget that this process makes it difficult to use the terminal.

The application was updated about 2 days ago and the new version brings the following changes:

  • Rewritten Preferences and improved performances
  • New Preferences Icon
  • 2 new Status Bar icons
  • possibility to choose between icons for the statusbar
  • Added Pulsing Bar option
  • Added Play Sound notification
  • Added Vibrate notification

FreeSync 2.1 is available for $0.99 in Cydia in the ModMyi repo.
