Those from Mac stories claim to have obtained information from a source close to Apple indicating that iOS 4.3 could be available on February 14th at 10AM PST. Yesterday there were some rumors indicating that the iPad 2 and iOS 4.3 could be presented in the next 2 weeks at a conference supported by Apple, but even that information was based on rumors. I remind you that Apple releases GM versions of iOS at least 2 weeks before officially releasing that version of iOS via iTunes, so it is unlikely that on February 14 we will have iOS 4.3 available.
My opinion is that iOS 4.3 will be available only once or shortly before the release of the iPad 2 tablet. Last year Apple released iOS 3.2 only when the iPad tablet was available on the market, so these rumors should be viewed with distrust considering that no I saw another GM version of iOS 4.3. So, after we have iOS 4.3 GM available for developers we can calculate the release date, until then everyone guesses different dates.
