Samsung Galaxy S2 was officially presented by Samsung at MWC 2011 this evening. In the clip above we have a hands-on video and as you already know the terminal has: a 4.27 inch Super AMOLED Plus screen with a resolution of 800 x 480 px, a 1GHz dual-core Samsung processor, an 8 megapixel camera capable to film HD in 1080p format plus a 2 megapixel front camera and runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread with TouchWiz 4.0. I told you that it is the thinnest smartphone in the world at 8.49 mm, surpassing the Sony Xperia Arc by approximately 0.2 mm. It is interesting that Samsung chose to implement a 1600mAh battery in this terminal, but it remains to be seen how it will handle the new dual-core processor. That's all about SGS 2, we are waiting for the comparative tests.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, not the Galaxy Tab 2 as everyone hoped, was also presented by Samsung this evening. The tablet runs unmodified Android 3.0 Honeycomb, has a 10.1-inch screen, powerful hardware and promises to compete with the iPad. I like the tablet, it looks good, it represents a BIG big step forward for Samsung since the disappointment called Samsung Galaxy Tab, but it remains to be seen the price at which it will be sold. Android 3.0 Honeycomb looks just as good, I like the bottom status bar, it's probably designed after the one in Windows and this will "catch" many users. The specifications are below, now we are waiting to see what exactly Apple will bring to the market.
