Android 2.3 Gingerbread can be installed on iPhone 2G/3G and iPod Touch 1G using Bootlace

The iDroid project was initiated by one of the former members of the Dev Team with the idea of bringing iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad owners the possibility to install versions of the Android operating system on their own devices. Until now, only iPhone 2G/3G and iPod Touch 1G owners have had the opportunity to install Android OS on their own terminals, and unfortunately the situation remains the same. The Bootlace program was specially designed to install Android OS on our devices and at the moment we can only install Android 2.3.1 Gingerbread on the terminals mentioned above.

Bootlace 11.01 (Pepparkaka) it is the last version released by the team dealing with the iDroid project, you will find it in Cydia and you will be able to install Android 2.3.1 using it.
