The additional cost was generated by the terminal which access free internet and of course in roaming a MB of internet traffic is extremely expensive. I imagine that this is not the first story of this kind that you have heard and I chose to write about it with the idea of warning you about the risks of using an iPhone terminal abroad. In general, iPhone terminals that have open Internet connect to the Internet at regular time intervals by accessing various servers, either for push, or for setting the time, etc. If you are abroad, I recommend that you turn off the Internet completely from Settings>General>Network, otherwise you may wake up with a bill of several thousand euros.
