iPad 2 attracts new customers, resellers send couriers to the queues in front of Apple stores

According to those from FortuneMagazine, approximately 70% of those who purchased an iPad 2 this weekend are purchasing such a tablet for the first time. The famous publication bases its claims on a study carried out by the analysis firm Piper Jafray during the launch of the iPad 2. Approximately 300 people standing in line in front of Apple stores were asked about their purchase options and whether this is the first iPad tablet, 70 % of them answering affirmatively. By comparison, last summer only 23% of those who purchased an iPhone 4 were the first to purchase such a terminal. The percentage of new users attracted to iPad 2 is very high and this is just the beginning considering that on March 25 the tablet will be launched internationally.

"We believe this shows Apple is expanding its base of iPad users, which is critical to maintaining its early lead in the growing tablet market. As the user base grows Apple's lead widens, and the company has a proven track record of building unmatched brand loyalty, which we believe will be a potent combination as the tablet market evolves."

Because the iPad 2 is so sought after, some resellers send couriers to the US who Wait in front of Apple stores to buy iPad 2 tablets. A reseller in Hong Kong received no less than 200 orders for the iPad 2 and sent 8 couriers to different cities in the US who will buy the tablets and fly them back to Hong Kong. It is interesting that the said reseller demands almost double prices for the sold tablets and he is certainly not the only one.

It is estimated that today Apple will deliver new stocks of iPad 2 tablets to its own stores and to partners, so if you have someone in the US, you should send them to a store.
