The new MacBook Pros have problems with unusual OS crashes

After the multitude of information related to the problems of the iPad 2 tablet, here are others related to the problems of the new MacBook Pros launched by Apple just a few weeks ago. It seems that the new generation of MacBooks freezes when the processor and graphics card are SUBJECT intensive use. Some users report that opening certain programs generates an unusual load on the processor, its temperature rising to around 90 degrees, at which point the system shuts down to protect the internal components. This blocking is normal to protect the hardware but abnormal considering that it happens very quickly after opening some programs that should not consume so many resources.

Received a new 15″ 2.2/6750M MBP last week and have been having some issues with the machine locking up under load.

For example if I boot up a VM using Fusion the temperature will spike above 90 degrees and the machine will lock up most of the time. The machine appears locked (cannot move the mouse at all and the keyboard is unresponsive). I can SSH into the machine still and it is still running however. This is one example but it will freeze under a number of circumstances where the CPU/GPU load is very high (rendering, DJ Software, compiling so far in my travels).

The problem only affects the new MacBook Pro models and does not freeze the MacBook every time the processor/graphics card is intensively used. The problem seems to be of a software nature more considering that the blockages do not appear every time when the components are "stressed". If you have a new MacBook Pro or intend to buy one, then you now know what to expect.

My big concern... is Apple starting to cut back on quality?
