Apple just did announced on the official website the launch of iPad 2 in 25 countries on March 25, 2011, a launch expected by millions of users who will now have to wait in hellish queues to purchase the most desired device on the planet. Online orders will start at 1 AM in each of the countries where there is an Apple Store, and in Apple stores and resellers the tablet will be available starting at 17:00 PM. In April, the iPad 2 tablet will be available in Hong Kong, Singapore, South Korea plus a few other countries, but I don't think Romania will be among them.
For now, the prices in euros for the tablet are known, so that iPad 2 Wi-Fi 16/32/64GB will cost € 479 / € 579 / € 679 and iPad 2 3G 16/32/64GB will cost € 599 / € 699 / € 799. In Great Britain the prices will be a bit lower considering that the pound sterling is much stronger than the euro so you will be able to purchase the tablet iPad 2 Wi-Fi 16/32/64GB cu 399/479/559£ and the model iPad 2 3G 16/32/64GB cu £499/579/659. In Australia, the prices will be a bit lower, but I don't know how many of you will get there, so the prices above should give you an idea of what to expect.
UPDATED: Prices differ depending on the country. The prices in euros listed above are only valid in Italy. In France, the prices are at least 10 euros higher for each individual model.
