The HDMI adapter for iPad 2 available in Romania at double the price compared to the USA

You know the HDMI adapter for iPad 2, iPhone 4, iPad and iPod Touch 4G that allows us to play the images on the screen of our devices directly on the screen of a TV, right? You know that in the US it costs $39 in the Apple Store and with 9% taxes it comes to about $43, right? In Romania it costs 100 dollars, a price more than double for a product that in Europe costs only 39€ or somewhere around 160 RON. Where does this price difference come from? Why is the product so expensive in an online store that doesn't even have it in stock? It is easy to understand that due to the demand and the unavailability of the product the price is high, it will probably be lower after the product reaches the stock, but now you will pay double for such an adapter.

Why do stores in Romania make such moves? In order to "scare" the customers and make them not to place an order, but those who commit and place an order pay the price displayed on the website, of course. To be honest, I have the impression that the websites in Romania are starting to turn into a kind of eBay where the person who offers more buys the product. No, I do not approve such practices even if the product is unavailable.
