iPhone 5 and the new iMac line launched in 2012?

Only 2 hours have passed since ANNOUNCEMENT made by Apple and rumors are already starting to appear announcing the postponement of the iPhone 5 launch for 2012. This rumor comes from The Loop which analyzes today's Apple announcement and claims that WWDC 2011 will be oriented towards software presentations and not towards the presentation of any product. The publication claims that Apple will focus on the presentation of iOS 5 and the new Mac OS X Lion to be released in the fall, and the iPhone 5 will be postponed to 2012. Along with it, iOS 5 and iPod Touch 5G will also be postponed if it is let's follow this theory because Apple releases these main versions of iOS ONLY when it releases a new iPhone model.

Apple closed the door this morning on any speculation that it would announce new hardware at its Worldwide Developers conference saying it would focus on iOS and Mac OS.

Apple's apparent focus on software in its WWDC announcement backs up what my own sources are saying about the annual conference. That is, expect a software show in 2011, not a hardware event.

Apple released the iPhone 4 CDMA in February and in the spring the white version of the iPhone 4 is expected to be released, 2 more reasons to support the delayed release theory. 9to5mac explains the fact that the releases of the iPhone 4 CDMA and the white version of the iPhone 4 are too close to the event in the summer for the presentation of the iPhone 5, so this device will be postponed until 2012 along with other series of Macs. They continue their theory regarding the postponement by citing a website from Japan which claims that Apple's partners have scheduled the start of production for the iPhone 5 components for the end of 2011, this after a few weeks ago information appeared indicating that everything is oriented towards a summer launch .

To be honest, I'm surprised that some people analyze so carefully what Apple writes and forget the history behind the company. Yes, Apple made it clear that it will be a WWDC focused more on software, but that does not mean that the iPhone 5 will not be present. Every year I had an iPhone in the summer, people stood in lines in front of the stores, Apple was the center of attention, tens of millions of units were sold in the summer, everyone was happy. Do you think that Apple will postpone the iPhone 5 launch for winter or autumn? I think not, iOS 5 must be released in the summer and iPhone 5 as well because the devices have been on the market for 1 year and Apple will maintain the tradition until now. Apple is a company that cares a lot about tradition and this was demonstrated again this month when Apple launched the iPad even earlier than last year. Apple does not intend to postpone anything because it would upset the company's entire sales strategy and more.
