Starting with iOS 4.2.1, Apple changed the ringtones for the iPhone, iPhone 3GS and iPhone 3G terminals, having fewer tones for SMS than iPhone 4. In iOS 4.3, new ones appeared which, of course, are no longer found on the iPhone 3GS iPhone 3G is no longer compatible with the new version of iOS. Ringtones Enabler solves the problem of missing tones for iPhone 3GS owners by adding them to the list of tones available in the Settings menu. Unfortunately, this tweak adds the tones only for those who have iOS 4.3 installed, so it will not work on any other version of iOS.
Ringtones Enabler is available for free in the repo http://repo.ispazio.net which you will have to add manually in Cydia.
