Mac OS X Lion Developer Preview 2 was officially released last night for all developers who registered with Apple for the production of Mac applications. As the name suggests, this is the second "beta" or preview version of Mac OS X Lion that should be released in the fall of this year. For now, no one knows what are the changes brought by this new Preview version, but it is rumored that Build 11A419 released last night would be the GM version announced by TechCrunch a few days ago. They said that Apple will release a GM version of Mac OS X Lion in the near future and that until the final release there will be others that will solve various bugs in the system.
The new update is 3.7 GB and can be downloaded from the official Apple website for developers.
Along with Mac OS X Lion Developer Preview 2, Apple also released Xcode 4.1 Developer Preview 2, about which little is known and which you can download from the same developer.apple.com.
