On April 1, Google tried to make a "good joke" and created a video clip in which explains a new revolutionary technique through which emails can be accessed, written and sent using simple gestures. Google also made a dedicated page for this new function and some did not see the joke in the presentation so they tested the system from Google but of course they did not have much success in using any of the functions presented by Google. FAAST is a new system designed by several PhD students from a US university and through it we can use all Gmail Motion functions with a Gmail account.

Notice that everything that Google presented in the clip released on April 1 is functional in the FAAST system and to be honest, I think that this is the first step towards the large-scale implementation of this kind of technology using gestures and technology similar to that of Kinect. What do you think, will you see yourself using Gmail only with gestures?
