Steve Jobs still involved in the management of the Apple company

During the conference for OVERVIEW financial results for Q2 2011 Tim Cook, COO and current CEO of Apple, said that Steve Jobs is still actively involved in the management of the company even though he is officially on medical leave. Steve Jobs has been on medical leave for more than 3 months, but he is actively involved in making strategic decisions for Apple and regularly attends meetings with company management members. The situation is identical to the one in 2009, when Jobs was on medical leave for more than 6 months, but was actively involved in the management of the company.

On March 2, Steve Jobs surprised everyone by appearing at the conference for the presentation of the iPad 2, and then many thought that Apple's CEO would return to the management of the company, but almost 2 months have passed and he is still sitting aside. We will probably see Steve Jobs again in the summer when WWDC will take place and as CEO he will only return sometime in the summer/autumn or maybe even later, depending on how his health evolves.
