More iPad tablets than Linux computers "surf" the Internet

You probably don't expect something like that, do you? So at the moment there are more iPad tablets accessing websites than there are computers with Linux installed? Apparently yes, the number of people who ACCESSING the internet using iPad tablets is higher than the number of people who access the internet from a Linux computer. Of course, the number of iPad tablets does not exceed the number of computers with Linux installed, but as Linux is generally used on servers that no one uses as a personal computer, then the above data has an explanation.

The information comes from the StatCounter website, which monitors around 3 million websites around the world. Linux is not an operating system accessible to any type of user and it is normal that in this kind of statistics Linux does not occupy a leading position. It is interesting, however, that Windows is present on 82% of the computers that surf the Internet. It is worrying that Windows 7 barely surpasses Windows XP and Microsoft has a lot of work to do in this area because it seems that Windows XP owners refuse to give up the old version of the operating system.
