Samsung said in the statement that the suits, filed in South Korea, Japan and Germany, involved 10 alleged infringements of patents mainly involving power reduction during data transmission, 3G technology for reducing errors during data transmission, and wireless data communication technology.
Apparently, these 10 invention patents are for technologies related to data transmission via 3G and the development of a system that would allow a reduced energy consumption while surfing the Internet. Now it is almost impossible to determine whether or not Apple violated those patents and used technologies patented by Samsung, but one thing is clear, neither of the 2 companies will give up too easily. Apple will probably find another reason to sue Samsung and the "fun" will continue in the coming weeks.
