redsn0w 0.9.6 RC16 was released today by the Dev Team to solve the problems with the silent button functionality but using this jailbreak solution could bring another benefit. i0n1c, the one who made the untethered exploit for iOS 4.3.3, says that redsn0w 0.9.6 R16 could improve battery life after jailbreak. He says that the first version of redsn0w for iOS 4.3.3 had a problem with process prioritization, but he managed to fix it in the new exploit, so theoretically we should notice an improvement in battery life.
