Mac OS X 10.6.8 will remove Mac Defender, prepare your Mac for Mac OS X Lion

During the evening of Friday to Saturday, Apple released a new beta version of Mac OS X 10.6.8 that brings a series of news that were only today FORTH. It seems that Apple will remove the Mac Defender malware with the new version of Mac OS X 10.6.8 and I assume that Mac Guard it will fall under the "target" of those from Apple in terms of cleaning the operating system of malware. The second big news is related to the Mac App Store, which will be improved to allow users to update to Mac OS X Lion. At the moment, application developers download the beta versions of Mac OS X Lion directly from the Mac App Store, so I assume that users will have the same possibility and the new Mac App Store application will make things easier.

It is not yet known when version 10.6.8 of Mac OS X will be available, but it will certainly come out before Mac OS X Lion because it will allow the update to the new version of the operating system. We will find out more information about Lion only on June 6, when WWDC is scheduled, and probably shortly after the conference, Mac OS X 10.6.8 will also be available.
