Mac OS X Lion available in July for $29

This evening at the WWDC conference, Apple presented the new version of Mac OS X Lion along with some important functions. Those from Apple specified that there are over 250 novelties implemented in the new version of the operating system that will be available in July of this year. In Mac OS X Lion we will have new multitouch gestures, the possibility to run applications in fullscreen, even for iPhoto, iMovie, Safari, but the most interesting function is Launch Pad which unifies Expose, Spaces and the iOS version of Launchpad. The new Lion has a function called Resume that allows you to reopen applications exactly from the point where you closed them last time, so something similar to multitasking in iOS 5.

Finally we have AirDrop, a function that allows peer-to-peer file transfer between Macs that have Lion installed. The new operating system will be available for $29 in the Mac App Store and will have 4 GB. The launch will take place in July.
