Although it was said that the animated boot logos will not reach iOS 5, here in the video clip above we have demonstrated how such an animated boot logo works on an iPod Touch 3G. In the description of the clip on YouTube it is said that the terminal is not jailbroken, but I find it hard to believe this. The logo animation takes effect right before the terminal displays the set-up screen of iOS 5, but the old boot logos displayed the animation shortly after the terminals were turned on. I assume that soon there will be tweaks available in Cydia that will activate this function for everyone.
UPDATED: Some users say that the same animated boot logo also appears on the iPhone before the set-up screen, so it seems to be a feature of iOS 5 for all terminals.
