PhoneIt-iPad is a tweak that we talked about a few weeks ago and which allows owners of iPad 3G tablets to make calls directly from the tablet. As you know, Apple has blocked this function, but the tablet is able to make phone calls only because it did not have the necessary applications in iOS to perform this function. Those from iPhoneIslam made a tweak that activates the telephony function on iPad 3G and as they present the tweak on the website, iPad and iPad 2 are compatible. Notice in the clip above that the Phone application on the iPhone has been ported to the iPad and works without any problem for making phone calls.
Those from iPhoneIslam say that using this tweak we can even send SMS from the iPad tablet and in the case of the iPad 1 we can even make FaceTime calls if our operator allows activation. The tweak brings interesting functions to the iPad and there are probably enough people who have minutes or SMS on the internet card used in the iPad, so with PhoneIt-iPad you will be able to use them without problems. The bad part is that the tweak costs $20, a rather high price for porting functions that I don't know how useful they are on a tablet.
