The new MacBook Air series in June, iPad 3 with Retina Display by the end of the year?

A new MacBook Air series will most likely be released by Apple by the end of the month, Reuters publishing today an article confirming the rumors that have appeared so far. The publication claims that around 380.000 new units will be available for the official launch and 460.000 units will be sold by Apple in the entire month, including units from the old series. The information confirms the rumors published last week by several Asian newspapers, so Apple is actively preparing this release and it would be good to postpone the purchase of a MacBook Air until the end of the month in order not to regret the purchase made.

The second part of the article published today by Reuters has in mind the iPad 3 tablet that would be released by the end of this year and will have an image resolution 5-6 times higher than that of the iPad 2. The from Reuters quotes an Asian publication that states that the iPad 3 with Retina Display screen, which has a resolution of 2560×1920 and a pixel density almost 6 times higher than the iPad 2, will be released by the end of this year. The publication motivates itself allegations on the fact that in front of so many new tablets launched on the market, Apple wants to offer a new iPad model that is much more attractive and better than any other competing product on the market. From my point of view, the iPad 2 has no rival at the moment and the launch of a new model will not take place until the first part of next year because Apple really has nothing to fear considering that the iPad 2 has surpassed sales of any other tablet model available on the market.

Apple dominates the tablet computer market in the year of 2010; In 2011, a huge number of tablet computers have been introduced and given a general threat to Apple's leading status, Apple is thinking of giving an aggressive counteroffensive.
....
Apple, in order to maintain a leading position, plans to launch iPad 3 in the fourth quarter by shortening the iPad Product life cycle. And also, try to push the screen resolution of iPad 3 to 2560×1920, which is the ultimate resolution a 9.7 Inch Panel can achieve and double Full HD.

I don't know how many rumors about a possible launch of the iPad 3 will be published until the end of the year, but Apple will not launch a new tablet unless a competitor launches a new product that will make the iPad 2 forgotten, something that is impossible to achieve at the moment from the girl.
