References about iPad 3 with Retina Display found in iOS 5

iOS 5 contains, like iOS 4.3 beta, references to existence an iPad 3 tablet with retina screen. In the image above we have some images taken from the framework for Twitter from iOS 5 and notice that the 2 images at the top have the mark @2x in the name, a mark specific to icons for applications compatible with Retina Display. The 2 images also have a resolution of 2048 x 1536, which is exactly double the current resolution and indicates that Apple is testing an iPad tablet with Retina Display. If Apple is testing it, this does not necessarily mean that it will be released, but it is good to know that Apple still plans this.

The same kind of images were discovered in iOS 4.3 beta in February and then it was said that iPad 2 will have Retina Display, but in the end the rumor turned out to be false. Now it is not known for sure if the iPad 3 will have a retina screen and at the moment it is premature to speculate considering that we are about 9 months away from the possible launch of a new model of the iPad tablet. Some claim that the iPad 3 will have a Retina Display, I say that now it would be better to focus on the iPhone 5 which has not yet been released and about which we know so few concrete things for now.
