It is 18:00 and some dozens of shops from Romania officially start selling the iPad 2 tablet, although they have been selling it unofficially since April. Starting today, resellers of Apple products have the opportunity to sell iPad 2 tablets without restriction and at lower prices than those practiced until now by the big online stores. Practically, this launch only brings to the market the decrease in prices in the big online stores and in the stores of the retailers because the iPad 2 tablet was available here since April when eMag and evoMAG officially launched it.
The launch is supported by the operator Vodafone Romania, which launched the tariff plan today Internet iPad, the first of its kind by an operator in Romania. Orange and Cosmote have not announced the launch of any similar tariff plans yet, so probably next week we will see something from the other 2 operators.
